IE 8

I installed Internet Explorer 8 yesterday - because Windows Update was bugging me to. The first web page I went to after that didn't open correctly. I used the 'compatability mode'. It still didn't load correctly. I didn't want to waste my time messing around, so I ran system restore. No good! After that I didn't have any functioning Internet Explorer. So I'm working with Firefox now.

Do you prefer IE to FireFox? I find the FireFox interface easier to use!

I find them much the same. Obviously I knew IE 7 better because I've used it a lot. IE 8 seems to look more like Firefox. I can't make feeds work in Firefox yet and that irritates me.

Fair enough. But, just for the record, feed subscriptions in Firefox are called Live Bookmarks and the orange 'subscribe' icon usually shows up in the location bar.

I don't subscribe to any feeds, so this is not an issue for me. So far I find Firefox quicker than IE7. Haven't tried IE8, and I think I'll need to remove some of the bumph from my machine before I try loading ANYTHING else on it.
