Graduation

Last night was my graduation for my Masters degree from the Baptist Theological College. It was held at Rosebank Union Church in Sandton and was a really good evening. The worship time, led by the college band, was all that I could have asked for. The speakers were generally good and not too long! And I felt really special, which I suppose is what it is all about.
The vibrancy and passion and enthusiasm were infectious.
I can't say what I want to say, but let me just say that it contrasts with the general attitude within my own denomination.

Oh, I'm so intrigued :).

Happy to hear you're done.

You mean atmosphere? Or attitude?

How ever do you speed through a Master's like that? For me, it's taking nearly a year to progress from final submission to graduation ...

Wonderful and deserved congratulations. Hope you find PMB friendly and that you are able to make a home there.

Thanks all. Thomas - I don't know if it was fast or not - I've never done this before. I feel like the guy who watches and says 'uh, what happened?' Somehow I have a Masters dissertation and a degree. God is kind.

Congratulations!

And seeing Thomas's comment reminds me that his is one of the blogs I haven't looked at since Amatomu died, and there are several others like that, that i used to read regularly because I could check Amatomu for new posts.

Now I have to rely on MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog, but not everyone is on those.

Thanks Steve. I remember blogs because I put them into my feedreader. But unfortunately that means I don't always see the comments and it takes and extra step for me to comment. I must give some thought to blog aggregators in the holidays.
