For completeness sake, I must report that I did get through the Screening Committee. So I am well on the road to becoming an ordained minister. Beyond scary. Who me? Why me? But it is a privilege. And I hope that I can be useful. And also that I get through the challenges that still lie ahead.I've posted my essay. Will need to do two trial services before May. Then synod.

I was part of the screening committee today down in PMB. A grueling day it was, left me with a headache of note. Three folk didn't make it I am afraid. Look forward to hearing news of you walk and call.
I can identify with the headache! And I did feel for the committees having to listen to all of us aspirant ministers trying to sound intelligent!
I know quite a few didn't get through from Central, but I'm not sure how many did.
