Update on Midget

I've had my new Acer Aspire One 3G for a couple of weeks now. And so far - pretty good. It works very well for my basic needs. And the portability is awesome. The battery life is 6 to 7 hours and so I just pick it up, without its power cable and go.
Occasionally I am irritated because I would like to see more on the screen, but so far it is generally ok.
The next step is to try powerpoint and the multimedia stuff.

Hi Jen

You sound like me and my quest for a large-print Bible that I can slip into my pocket - ain't gonna happen. I guess that life's about compromises.

Note the slightly green tinge around my gills when I look at your Midget. I think I'm in love! Now if I can crack a prize in that journalism competition - category winner = my own Midget! Please pray for me :-)

Journalism? (sorry Jenny, you're outta this conversation)! I funded a postgraduate degree through on-the-side journalism. And Bertrand Russell (I have been browsing a fat biography) made most of his money from journalism at one time -- some time past his prime, they say, although you are surely before it (your prime, your ascendency, your azimuth).
