I see they've reworked Amatomu. Good! Maybe they will manage to fix the blogs whose stats aren't updating correctly - like Contact Online.

More like www.amacoma.com at the moment. :-(

Contact Online dropped to the bottom because the author, on the advice of his web fundi, removed the piece of code that updates the stats. The web fundi said it slowed down access to the blog.

The stats actually seem to be wildly erratic lately. I don't think the ones showing which posts are most popular are at all accurate any more.

But they say they've been fiddling with it to improve it, so it may come right later. I hope it does, because I have always used it to keep up with SA blogs.

Oh - I saw that Contact Onlines stats weren't updating (in the blog comparison feature) - but now I understand, thanks.
I wonder if there is such a thing as accurate blog stats? So much depends on browser software putting the correct info into header records.
I do hope they come right!

I'm just confused by the stats. One set says <10k visitors in the past two years. Another says >50k visitors in the past year. Not to speak of the jargon.
