I ought to be

I ought to be more aware of what is happening with Lausanne III.
I ought to have been awake enough to catch the same-sex synchroblog.
I ought to be participating more in other people's blogs.
These oughts ought to be telling me something!

Yes, you ought to be contemplating these oughts.

What's the difference between being and oughting? Answer that, and you'll be famous.

Problem is, these things often don't happen during the only free time we have, i.e. between 2 and 4 in the morning.

Thomas - If I am content with my state of being I am a mystic. If I prefer to live in a state of oughting I am an existentialist. (Well, that's how I see it.) I live most of my life in existentialist mode, with occasional forays into general peace and contentment.
Stephen - it's not only time. It is sheer energy and ability to keep contributing creatively.
Herman - thanks - but maybe not today (see latest post!)
